Millennium Pest Control Ltd are specialists in the removal of contaminated Loft Insulation, this can be caused by direct pest damage and from their faeces such as rodent urine, rat and mouse droppings, squirrel droppings and by guano from bird pests. Water contact from a leaky roof or damaged pipes will also damage loft attic insulation and its structure.
When pests such as rats, mice, squirrels and birds take up residence in a loft widespread damage is caused to pipe lagging and loft insulation. Diseases can also be passed to humans from contact or inhalation, diseases like Psittacosis, Salmonella from bird pests such as pigeons and mice and leptospirosis from contact with rat urine.

We will look to see if there are any other risk factors such as bats in residence, and the general condition for safe working in a confined space. We will need to establish a safe working method inside the property segregating the access in through to the loft access point. Waste removal will be bagged in skips or transported away depending on access.
