COVID19 regulations

Pest control services have continued throughout the lock down as we have been classed as essential workers, fortunately for Millennium Pest Control we have found the need for our services has not subsided and we find ourselves as busy as we would normally expect moving into the summer periods.

It’s important to our staff and clients that guidelines are followed and we have implemented the following procedures

Initial contact:

  1. Your call will be answered by our admin and technical staff where we can discuss your service requirements.

  2. We will offer dates and times that we can attend and will ask for any history of infection and whether you have symptoms at the time of the bookings.

  3. We ask that between the call and us attending if anything changes with your health please inform us immediately

  4. We are attending in trust, this works both ways, we continue the health surveillance of our staff daily and they have been instructed to in turn inform us of any symptoms immediately if such incidents occur

  5. Once the visit date is confirmed we will go through the payment with you on line as no cash or cheques will currently be accepted on sites

Site attendance:

  1. When our technician attends he will knock on the door and retreat to observe social distancing

  2. We ask that the treatments where practical to do so are discussed at this point and the location of treatment identified

  3. Our technicians will return to the vans and prepare for the service and have access to masks, and gloves at this point that they will be wearing when they enter your premise

  4. To ensure social distancing remains for the health and well being of both parties, if and where possible staff and clients will not be sharing the same rooms during our visits, (if you have any in-depth insect treatments carried out you will be asked to exclude the property for four hours)

Completion of visit:

  1. When the treatment is concluded we will be providing in most cases an on line report that will be sent to your email addresses, this will not require signing to stop the spreading of the virus

  2. If you have no email we will leave a report with that will not require signing to stop the spreading of the virus

  3. You can have the opportunity to speak with the technician before he leaves to discuss any queries or for them to provide any additional findings and information you may need with regards to the treatment and any health and safety issues.

  4. If you have any concerns when the technicians vacates and you need further advice you can call: 0800 0854460

  5. If you start showing any symptoms within a seven day period after our visit please call and let us know so we can immediately self-isolate our service engineers.

These are testing times for us all, we will do our up most to ensure best practice at all times
