The build-up of offensive bird waste and droppings had started to become a risk to human health. Bird droppings are acid and will defect any building structure over time and the nesting itself can lead to properties becoming infested with bird mite. The droppings themselves can carry E Coli, Salmonella, and Histoplasmosis If any birds die or get stuck in the chimney, they can then be a source of maggots and flies within a home which again is a risk to human health. Birds, once settled, will come back to the area periodically as they feel it is a safe area to nest and therefore, action needed to be taken to prevent this for becoming a reoccurring problem for the residents and their health.
