Wasps will chew at bark and use their saliva to form their nests;
Wasps do not swarm (only bees do);
Wasps are scavengers are will go after many food sources;
Nests will usually die off over winter due to the cold temperatures however, occasionally, if well protected, they can survive and move to the next year;

Read More »The wasp nest season has started early this year as our technician was called to their first wasp nest removal at a house in a village on the outskirts of Ipswich Suffolk. We are moving ever closer to the wasp season in the UK and there are already signs of queen wasps coming out of hibernation and starting their nests. In the spring many people confuse large bee swarms as wasps and it very important to know the difference. Wasp season usually starts at the beginning of June and may notice the odd one or two floating about. You may discover the beginnings of a nest as a small ‘ping pong ball’ like shape object.
When a nest is in full swing you will usually notice a trail of wasps moving in and out of a specific area i.e. under soffits, between roof tiles, a hole in the ground, into a shed or garage, or occasionally in vegetation.
Please remember that wasps are very defensive and will often become aggressive and sting if disturbed. Read More »Our squirrel expert team eradicated squirrels in the roof of a property in Norwich at the end of April and this week returned to successfully proof the property against squirrels coming back. We identified there were large gaps between the gutter and front roof tiles that were being used by squirrels to access the customers loft. We inserted rodent proofing brush along the gutter meeting the roof tile, which allows the roof drainage to work effectively and efficiently as also prevents build up of moss, leaves and ingress to other pests such as birds.
If you have a squirrel problem in Norwich or any village in Norfolk simply book a 3 course eradication treatment on line and you will receive a 5% discount. Whilst carrying out the treatment to remove squirrels we will be able to provide a survey report and quote to proof the building against further ingress.
