A few weeks ago Millennium attended a large deep clean of a property within the Broadland area, we were initially called out to eradicate against Rats within the garden when it also became apparent that the insides of the now empty property needed attention.
We initially needed to remove and dispose of all damaged carpets and floor tiles, these had been heavily covered in animal excrement and dirt, whilst removing these items our technicians also came across various hypodermic needles which needed carefully disposing of amongst other items.
Some of the wallpaper needed removing and then all walls underwent a full steam clean and sanitisation as these too were covered in grime and animal faeces.
No area of the property was left untouched and our team worked hard to get the property to a suitably high standard with a full deep clean throughout ready to then be re-decorated and made habitable again.

Millennium was asked to attend and investigate rat activity within a small warehouse unit. On inspection at the rear of the property we noted a lot of overgrowth and an old drain cover was found.
The Drain was then inspected and heavy damage and rat activity could be noted.
The Rats were found to be accessing from the broken drain to the surface, using the overgrowth as harbourage then access the warehouse via drainpipes and up and under the cladding.
We introduced a baiting riddance programme over a three week period attending every three days, carried out drain baiting, removed all foliage and attached 5mm wire mesh to the roof, removing the gutter to attach to wooden brackets making sure we worked along side the strict guidleines and laws during installation near Asbestos.
On Completion the Rodenticide has now been removed and replaced with monitoring baits as under the CRRU Laws, during our inspections we were always searching for any discarded rodent bodies to ensure no secondary poisoning could take place.

In the photos you can see the levels of damage and vast amounts of waste caused by birds accessing a redundant building over the last few years.
The structure has now become very fragile and requires refurbishment but due to the hazardous materials building contractors cannot commence the service until we attend and remove the waste.
Millennium has sealed the roof and used scaffolding to stabilise the remaining beams while they ready the void for construction to commence. This particular void has taken four days to clear with a team of three technicians, highlighting the vast weight content accumulated.
The finished void will be completely clear and sterilised on completion, leaving a nice clean working environment.
