Proofing of Damaged Door

Door proofing Issue

Overtime a door for a customer of Millennium Pest Control Ltd has been damaged and has been acting as an ingress point for rodents (as seen in the abovge picture). To deter the rodents from accessing the site and causing damage internally as well as being a potential risk to human health one of our technician's has installed a metal plate along the floor which has decreased the gap considerabley. (as seen below)

Door Proofing Done

Cutting off this ingress point for rodents will mean they will no longer be able to access the site at this point. Once the food source and the harbouring points are cut off the rodents will move on and will not prove to be an issue on site. When Millennium Pest Control Ltd investigate any rodent job it is not just about placing baits and traps down. The initial concern turns to hygiene, environmental, and proofing issues. Once, these things have been addressed the problem will often cease as the rodents no longer have any need for the site and move onto somewhere where they can attain food, water and shelter. If there is a problem with food being available to rodents or they can ingress into a building this is what attracts them and any bait that is administered will not get a second look from a rodent.
