Carpet Moth Treatment Suffolk

A nasty shock awaited this customer on moving their sofa - a carpet destroyed by Carpet Moths.  It is not actually the moths which cause the damage but instead their larvae - which feed on wool and natural fibres.

The Common Clothes and Carpet moth is characteristic by the golden colour of its wings folded down its back. Its larvae is a white caterpillar with golden-brown head and left unchecked can cause extensive damage as can be seen in these photographs.
