A llittle insight in to the presence of Cluster Flies which were located at a customers home recently.
Commonly found within loft spaces, wall cavities and around window frames during Autumn months, Cluster flies are true to their name, forming large swarms that accumulate together to hibernate. They release a pheromone which then attracts even more flies.
Although they do not pose any health risk they can become increasingly problematic for homeowners and many infestations require professional treatment due to the volume of flies.
Eradication treatment includes using a fogging system within the roof spaces and also an insecticide spray applied to the upper level window frames.
