This week 3 of our team have been working hard on a local loft clearance - which in this weather has been tough going for them!
Our client recently moved into their property and started to discover small mites within the home, upon investigation we were able to identifiy them as bird mites.
The bird mite had originated from old bird nesting materials which were within the loft space and had made their way down into the rest of the property, causing distress to the client and family.
Our team straight away removed and disposed of the nesting material, eliminating the source of the infestation. We then had to continue with removal of other debris from the loft, including contaminated insulation.
They worked hard over a two day period to have the loft completely clear, sanitised and then fumigated. We finished the treatment with a full fumigation within the rest of the property using a residual insecticide spray throughout.
Our clients can now rest easy knowing that they are free from aggravating Bird Mites.
